When and where to vote
Polling day is Saturday 21 March 2026.
The early voting period is from 14 March 2026 - 20 March 2026 (excluding Sunday 15 March 2026), with polling day 21 March 2026.
Polling booths open from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
In early March, South Australian voters will receive an EasyVote Card in the post. These will include accessibility ratings for polling locations on the back.
The card features a unique QR code that can be scanned when you go to vote. This will instantly mark your name off the electoral roll, making your voting experience streamlined and faster.
The card also includes a list of your nearest polling booths.
PS Don't worry if you forget to bring the card or your phone to the polling booth. You can still vote. We will mark your name off the electoral roll manually.

Voting by phone is a two-part process. When you call ECSA, you will have your identity and eligibility confirmed and receive a unique ID number. To maintain the anonymity of your vote, your call will then be transferred to a voting assistant, and they will take your vote with another person listening in to ensure your vote is being recorded accurately.
